Position: Maths Teacher

Hours: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP Start

Pay Rate: Payed to scale for all long term bookings

 

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of a Secondary School based in Birmingham City Centre. They are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to join their energetic and inspiring department!

The ideal candidate will be available to start after Easter half term (or sooner) and be available to work full-time hours!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to develop a deep understanding of mathematics.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential by providing tailored teaching strategies and additional assistance where needed.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and maintaining records in line with school policy.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide events.
  • Promote the values of the school and contribute to the broader school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge across the full secondary mathematics curriculum, including GCSE and A-Level.
  • A genuine passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of using ICT to enhance learning and support student engagement.
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
