Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Mathematics Teacher to teach KS3 - KS5. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing lesson plans, teaching mathematical concepts, and fostering a positive learning environment. The role involves preparing students for success in assessments, encouraging critical thinking, and nurturing a love for mathematics.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons to students.
- Teach key mathematical concepts.
- Promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and a growth mindset in students.
- Assess students’ progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.
- Ensure that lessons align with curriculum guidelines and academic standards.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Teaching certification or license (where applicable).
- Previous teaching experience in mathematics (preferred, but not required).
- Strong understanding of mathematical principles and ability to communicate them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process.
