About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving school in Basingstoke. As a teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students, helping them to develop a love for maths while achieving academic success. Whether you are an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher, we welcome applicants who are committed to delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 and KS4).
  • Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Support students outside the classroom through interventions and enrichment activities.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • A passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • Experience of teaching at secondary school level is desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
