Maths Teacher – Day-to-Day Supply

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Maths teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities? We are seeking a talented educator to provide day-to-day supply cover in a range of dynamic secondary schools in Poole, teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic chance to gain varied experience without the additional responsibilities of planning and marking.
Role Overview:
As a supply Maths teacher, you will step into the classroom to deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged in their learning. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment, providing support to students, and adapting to their needs across different schools and settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.

Manage classroom behavior and ensure students stay focused on their work.

Support students in their learning and adapt to various school environments.

Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth transition during the cover period.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a variety of school settings.

A passion for Maths and the ability to inspire students to succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
