We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in Halifax from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to engage students at Key Stage 3 and 4, helping them to build confidence and excel in this essential subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Foster a love for Maths and encourage students to see the relevance of the subject in real life
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students at varying levels of ability
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Maths curriculum is delivered effectively
- Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Previous experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 (preferred)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their potential
- The ability to motivate students and create an inclusive learning environment
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
