We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in Halifax from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to engage students at Key Stage 3 and 4, helping them to build confidence and excel in this essential subject.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Foster a love for Maths and encourage students to see the relevance of the subject in real life
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students at varying levels of ability
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Maths curriculum is delivered effectively
• Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Previous experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 (preferred)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their potential
• The ability to motivate students and create an inclusive learning environment
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
