Maths and English Tutor

Location: NG10

At TP Tutors, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised tutoring to students of all ages and abilities. We believe in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, helping students reach their full potential and excel in their studies. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Maths and English Tutor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, tailored tutoring sessions in Maths and English to students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Assess individual student needs and create personalised lesson plans to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Help students improve their understanding of key concepts and build confidence in their abilities.
  • Track progress and provide regular feedback to students.
  • Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English.
  • Strong knowledge of the Maths and English curriculum (Key Stage 1-4 / GCSE).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, clear manner.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
  • A degree in Maths, English, Education, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
