Job description

Job Title: Maths and English Teacher/Tutor

Location:

South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • 1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths and English lessons to students.
  • 2. Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their skills.
  • 3. Develop tailored teaching materials and resources to meet the needs of individual students.
  • 4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and achievements.
  • 5. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress.

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Maths or English
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Enhanced DBS check

Education:

  • Degree in Maths or English
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

Experience:

  • Proven experience in teaching Maths and English
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Maths and English curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Further qualifications in Education or related field
  • Experience with online teaching platforms

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
