Job description

Maths Tutors - Lancashire - Blackpool

If you’re confident with numbers and know how to break down complex maths concepts for teenagers, TP-Tutors wants to hear from you.

We’re not just filling gaps — we’re building something. We’ve recently joined the North West framework, and we’re growing fast. That means real opportunities for tutors who want steady, meaningful work helping students catch up, keep up, and push ahead in Maths.

Some of our tutors work a few hours a week. Others are booked five days a week, full-time. You tell us what you’re available for — we’ll aim to match you with hours that fit.

Who this is for:

  • You’ve got a strong grasp of secondary-level maths (Key Stage 3 & 4), and you’re confident explaining it in a clear, simple way.

  • You might be a teacher, tutor, recent maths graduate, or a professional with a maths-heavy background — if you know how to teach it, we want to talk.

  • You’re reliable, organised, and able to engage young learners in a one-to-one or small group setting.

  • You’re happy to work either in-person or online (or both).

  • You’ll need a DBS on the Update Service — or be willing to get one.

What’s different about us:

  • We’re new to the North West Framework, which means we’re actively building up our tuition delivery. That also means there’s space for committed tutors to grow with us.

  • We don’t just drop you into a classroom and walk away. We support you throughout, from matching you with the right students to handling logistics and giving you access to CPD.

  • As the hours grow, so can your schedule. Many of our tutors end up working full-time hours.

We’re especially keen to hear from Maths specialists right now. But if your strength is in English or Science, we’re building teams across all core subjects.

Ready to get started? Apply now to join a growing network of tutors working with schools, local authorities, and learners across England.
