About the role:

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Maths teacher who is enthusiastic and passionate about delivering high quality education to children aged between 11 and 16. The role will consist of working full-time within a state-funded and non-selective comprehensive school in Cwmbran, Torfaen. We are looking for a teacher who is resilient and driven, passionate about motivating and inspiring pupils and recognises the core values of teaching. Can you help us achieve this goal?

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing learning materials in line with the current curriculum
  • Delivering lessons to pupils and monitoring their progress and development
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Building strong and meaningful relationships with pupils, parents and staff members

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK
  • Must possess an Enhanced Child only DBS Certificate
  • Registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
  • At least two professional references covering 24 months

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
