About the Role

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to students aged 5 to 16 with special educational needs. You will play a crucial role in building students’ confidence in maths, adapting your teaching to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities. The role requires patience, creativity, and a flexible approach to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed.

You will work Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 3pm in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The school places a strong emphasis on small class sizes and personalised learning, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on each student’s progress. Working closely with a dedicated team of professionals, you will contribute to a collaborative and supportive teaching environment where both staff and students thrive.

 

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher with QTS, who has experience or a strong interest in working with students with SEN. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, adaptable, and committed to helping students develop their mathematical skills and confidence. While previous SEN experience is beneficial, training and support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
