Maths Specialist Teacher – Full-Time – SEN Setting

About the Role

As a Maths Specialist Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to students aged 5 to 18 with autism, Asperger’s syndrome, and associated conditions. You will be responsible for creating differentiated learning plans that meet the individual needs of each student, helping them build confidence in their mathematical abilities. The role requires patience, creativity, and adaptability, as you will be working with students who have diverse learning styles and needs.

You will work Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm, in a setting that values small class sizes and personalised learning approaches. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals, including therapists and support staff, to ensure that students receive a holistic education that nurtures both their academic and personal development.

 

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a qualified Maths Specialist Teacher with QTS, who has experience or a keen interest in working within an SEN environment. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, resilient, and committed to helping students reach their full potential. Experience with autism and associated conditions is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
