About the Role

As a Math Educator, you will:

  • Teach mathematics to students aged 11 to 16 with special educational needs, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging.

  • Adapt your teaching style to accommodate different learning abilities and provide personalised support.

  • Create a structured and positive learning environment where students can develop confidence in their mathematical skills.

  • Work closely with a dedicated team of educators and support staff to provide a holistic and nurturing approach to education.

  • Encourage students to enjoy learning by using creative and practical teaching methods.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3pm in a school that values small class sizes and a tailored curriculum to help students reach their full potential.

 

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a Math Educator with QTS, who is passionate about working with students with SEN. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs.

  • Have a creative approach to teaching and the ability to inspire students who may find maths challenging.

  • Be a team player, willing to collaborate with staff to create a positive learning environment.

  • Have experience working in an SEN setting (preferred but not essential, as training is provided).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
