Math and ICT SEN Teacher

Sociable hours, NO WEEKENDS – 8.30am-3.30pm (these hours may vary by 45 minutes)  

Must be able to work Monday to Friday  

Specialise in teaching KS3 maths and ICT.  

Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment. 

Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support student development. 

Be a source of motivation, encouragement, and positivity for your students. 

Self-assured in handling challenging behaviour. 

Plan, resource and deliver all lessons you teach.  

possess a solid understanding of the curriculum and the confidence to teach additional subjects, such as the humanities and food technology.  

Confident in a classroom setting 

Reliable 

Passion for helping to support SEN pupils  

Positive attitude  

Initiative to help prepare learning materials 

Have previous personal or professional experience working with SEN children (not essential) 

Specialise or hold qualifications related to Maths and ICT.  

Have relevant teaching experience that can be referenced.  

Hold a valid Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one) 

Have the passion and drive to work with children - MUST 

Able to use own initiative to get involved – MUST
