Teaching Assistant Level 3
Full Time - 37 Hours term time only
Temporary contract 

The Headteacher and Governors of a Primary School in Newcastle  are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate;
  • A thorough understanding of learning in the Early Years
  • Excellent classroom practice, with high expectations and evidence of improving standards
  • Excellent behaviour management skills, with an understanding of individual needs and the ability to develop relationships based on respect
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive outlook and growth mindset value base
  • The ability and drive to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team and by their own initiative
  • An understanding of a range of special educational needs and recent experience in supporting learning
  • A commitment to the wider development of the school and community

The post will be temporary, full time (37 hrs per week, term time only).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
