Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant - EYFS, KS1 & KS2
Location: East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Nottingham
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £80 - £95 Per day
Job Duties:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality educational instruction to students in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Support the teacher in planning and preparing engaging lesson materials and resources.
- Provide individualised attention and support to students with different learning needs, including those with special educational needs.
- Assist with the implementation of behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance.
- Help with the assessment and recording of student progress and development.
- Supervise students during class activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and professionals to support the overall development of students.
- Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and organised learning environment.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Education:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Experience:
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
- Experience supporting students in EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational frameworks.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students, teachers, and parents.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Good ICT skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications in specific areas like Special Educational Needs (SEN) or First Aid.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
