Job Description:
As a Lesson Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your role will involve delivering pre-set work, maintaining classroom discipline, and ensuring that students remain engaged with their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the classroom, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and oversee student activities
- Support students with their learning and address any queries
- Manage behavior effectively in accordance with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and any concerns
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people or in a school setting is beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Calm, adaptable, and proactive in handling different classroom situations
- A genuine passion for education and supporting student learning
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (or hold a valid one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
