Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Rural SEND Secondary School near Andover
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? A small but growing SEND secondary school near Andover is looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their dedicated team.
This welcoming and supportive school caters to high-functioning learners with diagnoses such as autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. They are expanding their facilities and need skilled individuals to help create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Key Details:
- Role Type: Temporary with the potential to become permanent.
- Hours: School hours (term time only).
- Start Date: Subject to a successful trial morning and vetting checks.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience working with young people is essential, preferably with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Transport: Due to the rural location, you must have access to your own car.
- Skills: Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting the education and development of learners with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
