About the Role:

• Start date: 24th February 2025
• Contract type: Initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent.
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to pupils in Year 5 and Year 6, helping them thrive academically and emotionally.
  • Work closely with class teachers to implement effective learning strategies.
  • Assist with group work, 1:1 interventions, and classroom activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

• Is enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to supporting children’s learning and development.
• Has experience working with primary school-aged children, ideally in KS2.
• Is confident supporting children with varying abilities and needs.
• Holds a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), or has relevant experience.
• Has a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for one.
