The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Assist in classrooms and small-group interventions.
- Support students with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH), focusing on both academic and personal growth.
- Help monitor students’ progress and provide targeted support where needed.
- Engage with students in a compassionate, patient, and understanding manner, ensuring their needs are met in a positive and inclusive environment.

- Strong Communication Skills: You’ll need to build positive relationships with both staff and students.
- Patient and Empathetic: Be prepared to support students through challenges and assist in creating a nurturing learning environment.

- Genuine Interest in Education: Whether it’s Psychology or another subject, a passion for helping young people thrive is key.
- Experience in Supporting Young People: If you’ve worked with young people before or have specific tutoring experience, this would be highly desirable.
