Job Title: KS3 English and Maths SEN Tutor

Job Duties:
- Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans to address students' specific needs and learning styles
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote student progress and achievement
- Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure effective support for students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN practises and principles
- Ability to differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in conducting assessments and creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
