Do you love teaching and have a passion for supporting students, but hate the constraints of the classroom? Then you should consider 1:1 tutoring!

There has been an increase of young people who are unable to attend and access school because of a variety of reasons, such as SEN needs, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties and Lower Learning Levels. Here at TP, we work with local authorities across the country to provide high-impact, 1:1 tuition for these young people!

You’ll have the opportunity to choose your own schedule; accepting as much or as little work as you like. With a lighter workload with less paperwork, tuition gives you that invaluable time back where you can spend time with you family or take up that hobby you’ve always wanted to try but never had the time too!

We are looking for Maths and English 1:1 tutors in Chelmsford and surrounding areas, to support young people in KS3, up to their GCSE's.

We have immediate start referrals to offer, or we can work around your availability!

This tutor role involves:

  • Working with secondary children who may have SEN/ SEMH needs or looked after (LAC).
  • Providing educational sessions face to face with children at their homes or a public space e.g. library, community centre, etc.
  • Planning resources around the child’s needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English and Science.

You will need to:

  • Have QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or SEN/ SEMH experience!
  • Be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children
  • Manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies

Benefits of working with Teaching Personnel:

  • A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles with you
  • Exclusive access to our CPD Academy
  • Payment in house, meaning no fees from Umbrella companies!
  • Up to £30 per hour for each of our roles!
  • Flexibility on your work hours!

Unsure of what is next? …… Please get in touch by applying with your CV!
