KS2 Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are looking to appoint for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work full-time, five days a week at a fantastic Primary School located in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
You will be supporting a mixed KS2 class of year 3 and 4 pupils, some of which require additional support and 1:1 work in order to keep them on target with the rest of their peers.
The school is an ideal environment for the educational development of Primary Pupils and has a warm, friendly atmosphere in which all members of staff are recognised for their individual contributions towards the pupils learning.
What the school require from you:
- An approachable and professional attitude towards your work
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant/EYFS Practitioner
- Ability to adapt well to any given situation/challenge
- Training in Safeguarding, Prevent or any other relevant course
You will be expected to monitor and assess the progress of pupils and assist in their progression through learning. You will also need to offer general support and aid in the overall running of the class alongside the class teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
