Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded primary school in the South Ribble area of Preston. This school is looking for an experienced Year 4 teacher to join their team on a full-time, maternity cover basis starting in September 2025.

About the Role:

As a Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, ensuring high standards of education for your pupils. You’ll have the support of a collaborative and friendly staff team, as well as access to professional development opportunities. This position will involve managing the classroom, planning and delivering lessons, and ensuring the wellbeing and progress of your students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons for Year 4 pupils in line with the national curriculum.

  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student development.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning, and build strong relationships with students.

  • Collaborate with other staff members and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Ideal Candidate:
