We are currently seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant with expertise in Read Write Inc. phonics to provide support in the general classroom and deliver targeted phonics support. This position is available from January 2024 to July 2024.

Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant - Phonics Specialist
Contract Duration: January to July 2024
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay: £77-£95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general classroom support to KS1 students.
- Lead and assist with phonics sessions, specifically using the Read Write Inc. program.
- Work closely with the class teacher to tailor support to individual student needs.
- Monitor and track student progress in phonics, implementing interventions as necessary.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a KS1 Teaching Assistant, with a focus on phonics.
- Familiarity and experience with the Read Write Inc. phonics program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
