KS1 Teaching Assistant
Job description
Are you passionate about nurturing young learners? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to inspire children in Key Stage 1? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Sheffield.
The Role
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Work one-to-one and with small groups of children to boost learning outcomes.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with planning, preparation, and resource organization.
- Provide emotional and social support to pupils, fostering their development.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who are:
- Enthusiastic about working with children and supporting their education.
- Experienced in working with primary-age children (desirable but not essential).
- Patient and adaptable, with a nurturing approach to learning.
- Team players who can collaborate effectively with teachers and staff.
- DBS checked (or willing to undergo a DBS check).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
