KS1 Teaching Assistant

The Role

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work one-to-one and with small groups of children to boost learning outcomes.
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with planning, preparation, and resource organization.
• Provide emotional and social support to pupils, fostering their development.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates who are:

• Enthusiastic about working with children and supporting their education.
• Experienced in working with primary-age children (desirable but not essential).
• Patient and adaptable, with a nurturing approach to learning.
• Team players who can collaborate effectively with teachers and staff.
• DBS checked (or willing to undergo a DBS check).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
