Salary:£12.90 - £13.50 per hour

We are now looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and support our Key Stage 1 pupils.
The Role:
We are seeking a full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant to work with our vibrant and friendly team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher, working with small groups of children, and providing one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs. You will help create a stimulating and positive learning environment where pupils can develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Assisting with the delivery of phonics, reading, writing, and maths
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for children, including those with special educational needs
- Supporting children in their social and emotional development
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies
- Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom displays
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all pupils
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with young children, ideally within a school setting
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- A good understanding of the national curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 1
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to help our pupils succeed
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) would be advantageous

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
