Key Stage 1 Teacher
Contract: Fulltime, Permanent Position
Location: Luton
Start Date: April 2025

A highly reputable primary school in Luton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join its permanent staff from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator to become part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality education in a nurturing environment.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that support the academic and personal development of KS1 pupils. They will foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring that all children feel valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s wellbeing and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance pupil outcomes.
  • Uphold the school’s ethos, values, and behaviour policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within KS1, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and promoting a love of learning.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to appointment).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
