A highly reputable primary school in Luton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join its permanent staff from April 2025. The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that support the academic and personal development of KS1 pupils. They will foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring that all children feel valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s wellbeing and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance pupil outcomes.
- Uphold the school’s ethos, values, and behaviour policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within KS1, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- A passion for inspiring young learners and promoting a love of learning.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to appointment).
