Salary: £150 - £180 Per day

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 students
• Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum delivery
• Attend meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions as required

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

• Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
• Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience working in a multicultural or diverse school environment
• Knowledge of current educational trends and pedagogical approaches

Working Conditions:

• Full-time temporary position with regular school hours
• Work may involve standing for extended periods and some lifting of classroom materials
• Collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
