A highly reputable and Ofsted-rated ‘GOOD’ primary school in Harrow is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their permanent teaching staff from April 2025. The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS1.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil development.
- Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally within KS1.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Be committed to promoting high standards of achievement and behavior.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Be proactive, resilient, and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
- Show a willingness to contribute to the school’s ethos and values.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
