Job description

Key Stage 1 Teacher (WN4) 

  • Role: KS1 Teacher
  • Location: WN4
  • Pay: In line with your teacher pay scale
  • Start Date: Easter 2025 - Earlier start dates available.

A primary school in WN4, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is seeking an energetic and creative KS1 teacher with high expectations to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and nurturing individual to make a genuine difference and have a positive impact on pupils. The school is part of a 3-form entry team and prides itself on delivering high-quality teaching.

The school are open to applications from teachers of all experience levels and are keen to support ECTs who wish to complete their induction.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Build positive and effective relationships with children and staff.
  • Be flexible, resilient, and strong in character.
  • Maintain calmness in challenging situations.
  • Be approachable, caring, and act with integrity.
  • Deliver creative lesson plans to ensure children are engaged and inspired.

Requirements:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS).
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Relevant Key Stage experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience working with and planning for children with additional needs.
  • Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
