Job Title: Interventions Teacher - Chorley

Location: Chorley

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours

Salary: £130 - £180 per day

Job Duties:

• Deliver targeted interventions to support students in achieving their academic goals
• Create individualised learning plans based on student needs and assessments
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to ensure alignment with curriculum
• Provide regular feedback to students, parents, and school administration

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience in delivering interventions or support to students
• Strong understanding of educational strategies and best practises
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of the UK national curriculum
• Ability to assess student needs and develop appropriate interventions
• Effective classroom management skills
• Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training in special education or SENCO qualification
• Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

• Work in a school setting with regular school hours
• Potential for occasional evening or weekend work for meetings or events
• Collaborative work environment with other teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
