Job Description
Job Title: Interventions Teacher - Chorley
Location: Chorley
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours
Salary: £130 - £180 per day
Job Duties:
- Deliver targeted interventions to support students in achieving their academic goals
- Create individualised learning plans based on student needs and assessments
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to ensure alignment with curriculum
- Provide regular feedback to students, parents, and school administration
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in delivering interventions or support to students
- Strong understanding of educational strategies and best practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the UK national curriculum
- Ability to assess student needs and develop appropriate interventions
- Effective classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in special education or SENCO qualification
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school setting with regular school hours
- Potential for occasional evening or weekend work for meetings or events
- Collaborative work environment with other teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
