Teacher of Humanities – Permanent Role
Location: Swindon

A highly reputable Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Humanities to join the permanent staff of their Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Swindon from April 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to become part of a committed and supportive team, delivering high-quality Humanities education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire and engage learners, fostering a love for subjects such as History, Geography, or Religious Studies, and contributing to the continued success of the school.
The Role Includes:
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in Humanities subjects.
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- Contributing to curriculum development and extracurricular opportunities.
- Working collaboratively within a supportive department and wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have a strong academic background in Humanities subjects.
- Be an inspirational and committed educator, with the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a passion for innovative teaching.
- Be a team player, eager to contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Have a commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
