Humanities Teacher
Contract: Fulltime, Permanent Position

Location: Croydon
Start Date: April 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience

A highly reputable Multi Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join the permanent staff of a GOOD school in Croydon from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to a thriving and supportive learning environment.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for the subject and encouraging academic excellence among students. They will be expected to contribute to the wider school community and uphold the values of the Multi Academy Trust.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in a Humanities-related subject (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies)
  • Experience teaching Humanities at Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • A commitment to high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities and the wider school community
  • A passion for professional development and continuous improvement
