Are you a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a positive impact in a vibrant primary school environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to join our dynamic team in Callington. Initially, you will be working for Teaching Personnel, with the potential for the role to become permanent within the school based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Leading small group sessions and one-on-one interventions.
- Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning materials.
- Supervising pupils during lessons and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Contributing to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
- Providing support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Essential Requirements:
- HLTA Qualification: Minimum Level 3.
- Experience: Previous experience in a UK primary school setting is essential.
- DBS Check: Must have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new one.
- Residency: Must reside in the UK.
Desirable Attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
