Job description

History Teacher (Full-Time, Start April 2025)

A highly motivated and knowledgeable History Teacher is sought for a full-time position at a respected Sheffield school starting in April 2025. The role involves teaching History at both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for History and the ability to inspire students to think critically about the past and its relevance to the present. Experience in teaching British and world history, as well as an understanding of exam board requirements, is essential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4.
  • Be passionate about helping students develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Have a commitment to promoting a love for History through engaging lessons and activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
