History Teacher - Romford (Outer London Pay Scale)

Teaching Personnel's PWR team seek a dynamic and engaging History Teacher for a thriving and supportive secondary school in Romford. This is a chance to bring history to life for students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the past. The school has a strong commitment to providing a stimulating and enriching curriculum.

  • Deliver engaging and challenging history lessons, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Develop students' critical thinking and analytical skills, encouraging them to question and explore historical events.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies to support individual development.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's history curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
