Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and bringing history to life? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our vibrant team in Rochdale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive history lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Create dynamic lesson plans and resources that bring history to life for students.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to foster growth and achievement.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Essential Criteria:
- A degree in History or a related subject.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Previous teaching experience in secondary education is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
- A passion for history and a commitment to student success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
