Job description

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and bringing history to life? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our vibrant team in Rochdale. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive history lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Create dynamic lesson plans and resources that bring history to life for students.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to foster growth and achievement.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Essential Criteria:

  • A degree in History or a related subject.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Previous teaching experience in secondary education is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • A passion for history and a commitment to student success.
