Job description

History Teacher – Secondary School (Boston, Lincolnshire)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced History Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school team in Boston, Lincolnshire. If you are committed to inspiring young minds and delivering engaging history lessons, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned history lessons to secondary school students.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Support students in their academic development and encourage critical thinking.
  • Participate in school-wide events and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.

What We Offer:

  • Starting pay of £160 per day, with the potential for an increase based on performance.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, term time only.

What You’ll Need:

  • A degree in History or a related field, with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the history curriculum and a passion for the subject.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students.
  • A positive, proactive approach to teaching and classroom management.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
