Job Advertisement: Full-Time History Teacher – Secondary School (SE2 Postcode)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the SE2 postcode (London). This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.

  • Planning, marking, and assessing student progress in line with the national curriculum.

  • Inspiring students with a love for history through innovative teaching methods.

  • Contributing to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching History at secondary level.

  • The ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

  • Right to work in the UK (Teaching Personnel cannot offer sponsorship).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
