Job description
As the Head of Art and Photography, you will lead the Art and Photography department, overseeing the delivery of engaging, high-quality teaching across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic and ambitious curriculum that inspires creativity and equips students with the skills needed for further education and careers in the arts. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Art and Photography teacher with leadership experience, who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Requirements:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✅ Leadership experience in the Art and Photography field (or experience leading teams in a teaching context).
✅ Strong knowledge and experience in Art and Photography education across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
✅ Proven ability to lead and motivate staff, with a vision for achieving high standards.
✅ Ability to inspire and challenge students at all levels of ability.
✅ A Safer Recruitment in Education check will be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
