Job Advert: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and working with young people? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team. Whether you have experience working with children or transferable skills from another industry, this is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of lessons to students across various subjects and age groups.
- Lead small group sessions and, potentially, full classes.
- Support students with additional learning needs and provide tailored support where necessary.
- Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Work closely with teaching staff to monitor student progress and offer feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in any field.
- Experience working with children or in a role where you developed transferable skills (e.g., care, childcare, communication).
- Confidence in leading groups and taking initiative in a classroom setting.
- A genuine interest in education and helping students reach their full potential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- The successful candidate must have or be willing to apply for a child-only DBS check on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
