Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEN Schools & Alternative Provisions

Are you a compassionate and motivated graduate looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Join our dedicated team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting students in SEN schools and alternative provisions!

Opportnities across Salford, Bolton, Wigan & Warrington
     Full-time | Term-time Only| Temp-perm 

  • Support students with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, and complex needs
  • Assist in delivering structured sensory activities, vocational lessons, and life skills sessions
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support in core subjects like English, Phonics & Maths.
  • Help create a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment. 
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to support students' communication and independence

     Who we're looking for:

        ✔ A graduate from any subject background – particularly English, Psychology, Education, Drama, Maths, or related fields
        ✔ A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude
        ✔ A passion for supporting students with additional needs (experience desirable but not essential)
        ✔ An interest in sensory based learning, theraputic approaches and vocational education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
