As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in the school, stepping in to deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and engaging students during lessons.
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans to ensure learning continues seamlessly.
- Maintaining a calm and focused classroom environment.
- Reporting on student participation and behaviour to teaching staff.
This position allows you to work directly with students across a range of subjects, offering valuable insight into school life and the teaching profession.

No previous teaching experience is required, but a degree in any subject and a desire to work with young people is essential.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in any subject.
- A willingness to obtain an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (Teaching Personnel can help with this).
- A positive, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
