The school is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Geography teacher to join their team in September, with the role set to continue for the entire academic year and the potential for a permanent position thereafter.

The Role
As a Geography teacher, you will work under the guidance of an exceptional Head of Department (HOD) to deliver engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering lessons to students of mixed abilities
- Setting and marking homework in line with the school’s marking policies
- Supporting students in their exam preparation and identifying areas where additional support is needed
- Collaborating with colleagues to create action plans to help students reach their full potential
Requirements
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching Geography up to GCSE level
- Strong knowledge of the current Geography curriculum
- Experience teaching other Humanities subjects (desirable)
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A current DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
