General Teaching Assistant
Location:
North West England, Merseyside, Liverpool
Job Type:
Contract, Full-Time hours
Salary:
£12.90 - £13.50 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering educational programmes
- Assist with the supervision and care of children
- Help students with their learning activities
- Prepare learning materials and resources
- Support children with special educational needs
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Patience and empathy when working with children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school setting
- Full-time hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
