General Teaching Assistant

Location:

North West England, Merseyside, Liverpool

Job Type:

Contract, Full-Time hours

Salary:

£12.90 - £13.50 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering educational programmes
• Assist with the supervision and care of children
• Help students with their learning activities
• Prepare learning materials and resources
• Support children with special educational needs

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs in English and Maths
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Patience and empathy when working with children

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:
