Overview:
Are you a versatile and enthusiastic educator looking for a flexible teaching role? We are currently seeking General Cover Teachers to work across schools in the Hartlepool area. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety in classroom settings.
As a cover teacher, you’ll step into different classrooms, delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and key stages.
- Follow prepared lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning in the teacher’s absence.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to support a focused learning environment.
- Encourage student participation and provide constructive feedback as needed.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Holders of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching or covering various subjects is highly desirable.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Adaptability and confidence to work independently in different school settings.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to quickly integrate into new environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
