We are seeking a committed and dynamic individual to join our team as a General Cover Teacher a new and pivotal role within our school. As our dedicated Cover Teacher, you will provide effective classroom supervision during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and continue to achieve success. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a vital part of our staff team and make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cover for absent teachers across a range of subjects and year groups
- Deliver engaging lessons following provided plans and ensuring a positive classroom atmosphere
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, productive learning environment
- Support students in their academic development and encourage participation
- Assist with marking and feedback as required by the school
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
