Job Advert: Full-Time Cover Supervisor - Leyland

About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of learning and discipline in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Your responsibilities will include supervising students, ensuring they remain on task, and managing classroom behavior. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring they follow the provided lesson plans
• Manage classroom behavior to create a positive learning environment
• Provide support to students, ensuring they remain focused and engaged
• Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff members
• Support students with additional needs when required

About You:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom management abilities
• A positive, proactive approach to education
• Ability to motivate and engage students of various abilities
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential
