Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions to students in the East of England area
- Provide one-on-one and group tutoring to support students in achieving their academic goals
- Create customised lesson plans based on individual student needs and learning styles
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to provide feedback on student performance
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at GCSE level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
- Proficiency in using different teaching methods to engage students
- Ability to assess student needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
- Travel to different locations within the East of England area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
