Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and interactive English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions to students in the East of England area
• Provide one-on-one and group tutoring to support students in achieving their academic goals
• Create customised lesson plans based on individual student needs and learning styles
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to provide feedback on student performance

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at GCSE level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
• Proficiency in using different teaching methods to engage students
• Ability to assess student needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
• Travel to different locations within the East of England area
