PositionSEN Teacher (Fully Qualified)

Are you a passionate and fully qualified teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Join our dedicated team at Teaching Personnel, where you’ll have the opportunity to inspire and empower children with SEN to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment at a variety of locations and provisions. 

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver a creative and tailored curriculum to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to engage and inspire students in their learning journey.
  • Develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff, therapists, and families.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional and social development.
  • Assess and track progress, celebrating achievements big and small.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Have experience working with children with a range of SEN, such as autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, or complex needs.
  • Be passionate about SEN education and committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies.
  • Be a collaborative team player, working effectively with other staff, parents, and external professionals.

  • Competitive hourly pay.
  • PAYE contract. 
  • Term-time only role.
  • Temporary contract, with a potential to go permanent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
